Privacy

Legacy of a Leader is a free daily devotional for men. Here is what happens to what you send through this site.

What we collect

From the reading plan form: your email, the plan you picked and the page you sent it from. From the small groups list: your name, your email and where you would meet. From the events list: your email. This site uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets cookies to do that, and nothing you type into a form is sent to it.

How we use it

To send the daily reading you signed up for, and to email you when the first small group starts or the first event dates are set. We don’t sell it, rent it or use it for ads.

Where it goes

What you send is emailed to our team and saved in a private Google Sheet. It’s sent through a small web server, which doesn’t store it. The daily email comes from Substack: the reading plan button takes you to Substack to confirm your subscription, and Substack’s own privacy policy covers it there. We use AI tools, including Claude, to help run this work, so what you send may be read with their help. Training on our data is off.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it.

Your choices

To stop the daily email, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any issue. To see, fix or delete anything else you sent, reply to any email from Legacy of a Leader. To keep Google Analytics from counting your visits, block its cookies in your browser or use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Changes

If this changes, this page will say so. Last updated October 30, 2026.
